The beholders must be blind

Before I go on, I want to make a few things clear. Last night, I read a person's LJ concerning how people thought she was so pretty, but that seemed to be all they saw. So this is my own social commentary. It contains certain self-image opinions that you have heard before. What I do NOT want to hear: Comments like, "Maybe you should see a professional and stop whining." or, even worse, "I told you so." Try to avoid mentioning that you think I still need help. Because I still know everything you or a shrink could ever say to me. Read between the lines.
