I look beautiful today. I really think I do. Things just... look right in the mirror. I feel like I've been covered with a soft filter. My skin is glowing, my eyes are bright, my lips are rosy, and my hair looks amazingly styled (and I deliberately walked around in the rain to clean it a little, and there's no frizz). I also look healthy. It's funny, because I felt perfectly normal when I woke up this morning; grumbled at some clogged pores on my forehead, scowled at the cat scratches on my wrist and hand, etc. And just a few minutes ago, after catching myself in the office bathroom mirror (flourescent, no less), I surprised myself. Huh.
The hair really amuses me. I'm chalking it up to all the Biotin and the Alfalfa tablets. I actually wonder why I haven't been taking Alfalfa tablets for years. I just realized how long my hair has grown. In a week. Since I started. And I feel really good. Like I just ate a full serving of green veggies, without the digestive side effects.
Mom sent me more Chlorella tablets. I love them too.
I've been using the Tooth Powder from Evan's Garden every day. It makes my teeth really polished and white (okay, it starts out brown, but once I rinse my teeth are gleaming). My mouth feels so clean I keep thinking I just came back from the dentist. Plus, it's got so many antibacterial, antiviral, antiseptic herbs that it may be why I haven't gotten sick yet.
I need to stop drinking so much water. I swear, I have to go to the bathroom every five minutes. That hype about eight 8-oz glasses annoys me. I'm not an average person! I don't even weigh a hundred pounds! In fact, a single liter should be perfectly fine for me. And yet I love water. It's a good thing, of course. But I have this little body; so I need to watch it. Never thought I'd say something like that.
I also know why I drink so much water here at work: The air in the building is so fucking dry that every drop of moisture feels leeched out of my body. My skin gets so dry I feel like I'm on a nonstop flight, and my throat constantly feels parched. I carry around my beloved Avocado Skin Saver (from Flutterbye Aromatics) everywhere, and even that needs to be reapplied more times than it should be. I notice that as soon as I leave the building, I'm fine. So it's got to be something about that place.
It is way too quiet today. My boss, Ray, is out for a family emergency, so it's just me in the library. The lawyers must have decided that they could do their research on their own. Hey, more time for me to do what needs doing: Filing and shelving and cataloguing and such.
I placed an order for the Biancha boots. They'll be here in less than a week. Hetsy, if you really want to help me alter the dress, let me know and we'll talk. Odilla, I also need to know what your grandma says -- it's not that I love Heather more then you, it's just that I want to consider all my options. :)
I also got Tara K. Harper's new book, Wolf In Night. It rocks.
Oh -- and NEW MODEL ARMY IS PLAYING AT THE BLACK CAT IN DC TONIGHT! *wild cheering* I so need my Justin Sullivan live fix.
But it also depends on how Adam feels. He's having a root canal. Ow.
