apparently we (earth) came closer to being hit by a comet this morning than we have since we started measuring this sort of thing. a big 'un, too.
electromagnetic field change + slight gravatational shift + weather = OW OW FUCK OW

i came home in tears, poured a bath so hot it almost made me pass out, added organic cocoa and soymilk powder (plus vanilla!), soaked until my ears rang, drank a cold beer, and now feel entirely almost human again.
