And yet...
Fast Forward? Harumph harumph. I don't enjoy the new direction. I want the animated Turtles back the way they were for the series, dark and edgy and in 2006. I hope they get rid of this Fast Forward crap soon.
And no, the theme song sounds nothing like ZZ Top. Sorry, people.

"The Ninja Tribunal"
Synopsis:
The Turtles find themselves abducted... but not by aliens -- by ninjas. There’s a new force on the scene. Actually, it’s an ancient force. The Turtles have found themselves caught up in a seemingly endless battle between good and evil. And, when they see who their abductors look like, the Turtles are in for quite a shock!
NOTE: The fifth season was originally planned to be a continuation of the "Ninja Tribunal" story before the "Fast Forward" direction change was implemented - hence the unfortunate cliffhanger at the end of season four.
The good news is, "The Ninja Tribunal" story line will be completed - the bad news is, it won't be airing on television in the USA.
4Kids Home Video plans to debut the entire "Ninja Tribunal" story arc on DVD in early 2007. This action-packed adventure will not be aired on TV anywhere in the US by that time - so they will be "straight-to-DVD" releases (at least in the United States - at the moment we're not sure if they'll air anywhere else in the world, but it seems unlikely). We'll post more info about "The Ninja Tribunal" DVDs on the site as soon as we hear more news from 4Kids.

Mayhaps I need to be on the lookout for a couple of DVDs soon...
