The fact that it is so self-contained is what definitely helped me connect to it (after amnesia - I don't know how I felt prior to that). It's a completely different, yet strikingly real-world relevant, film, and I love that it can stand alone AND connect to the outside world (and our possible future...), if desired.
He did do all the sketches, and you can buy some off his Web site! He's amazing.
I don't think I watched Buffy before, but hell, after NaNo, I could give it a try. I'd like to hear him sing somewhere else, too!
