Last night Adam and I were browsing the websites of local shelters looking over photos and descriptions of kittens. We found a couple of little ones who looked like Tuesday. My heart was heavy.
I feel empty.
I dreamed about her last night.
I hope we find her, or she finds us. The she who is meant for us.
(Jason is working on getting Jupiter vaccinated and neutered, because if we go to a shelter, they want to make sure all our animals are fixed. His vet appointments keep cancelling on him. We suggested PetSmart and Banfield, in Germantown. I just called them to ask about their services. Jason, if you read this, they are very cheap. You can probably get everything, everything, for much less than what you'd pay for just one service at a vet's clinic.)
Mom suggests that I find a kitten who is a good snuggler, a cuddler a lap cat, a loving, purring creature. Adam prefers cuddly cats with spunk and fight and life. We will compromise. If I turn her onto her back and she likes it, with just enough relaxing and just enough squirming, she's right for me. Also, we both agree that she should trill. We want our cats to sing.

We torrented the newest Doctor Who last night, the season premiere. Not to give anything away that Wikipedia wouldn't reveal, but I hated the bride. She grated on my nerves something fierce. I'm glad she is not the new companion. The new companion, Martha Jones, a medical assistant, will be played by the same actress who played Addie in "Army Of Ghosts," the cocoa-skinned girl who was killed by the Cybermen earpiece.
