Migraine last night.
*grinds teeth*
I hate that scooped out feeling in my skull. It's as bad as seizure recovery. And on that note, I need to be careful. Post-migraine downtime can leave me easily vulnerable to seizures, especially in this indian summer weather.
Adam comes home tomorrow! *cheers tiredly but enthusiastically*
I'm still broke but I have enough money for food until next Monday's paycheck. Damn this Pepco bill. I also feel terrible for Jason. He's working for a towing company, but lately he hasn't gotten much work, and his paycheck depends on it. He's behind on two months' rent, but I'm letting it slide because the situation is out of his control. Everyone cross your fingers for him.
Thank the gods it's Friday.

spa-ing myself

I got off at a bus stop much farther away than my usual stop. Walking at a brisk pace for twenty minutes, rather than six, gave me time to ponder. I enjoy pondering. My writermind decided to take over for a while, and played out a few scenarios in upcoming novel chapters. By the time I got home, I was almost crying. Those scenes will be so rough. So frightening.

Tonight will be Pamper Myself night. Luxurious shower. Then a facial, with Anna Bellina products (RR Souffle Cleanser, RR Mist Toner, RR Mask, RR Elixir Moisturizer, Natural Spa Body Lotion). No reason other than I want to.

Also, I have a vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting for dessert. Yay.
