an alarm clock named Luna

Luna woke me up this morning in the best way possible. After the alarm went off at 6:37, I hit the snooze button and went back to bed. Luna chose that moment to come over to me and lie down on my torso, nuzzling and grooming my face, burrowing her head in my neck, gently doing mashy-paws against my sternum, purring softly yet insistently. She jumped off a few seconds before the alarm went off again at 6:46. After I got dressed, she continued to love me until I had to leave for the bus at 7:09. I think it may be worth it in the future to wake up a bit earlier just to get the early morning affection that Luna seems to give most readily. She's the first cat to ever be so physically loving with me, and I want to enjoy every moment.
