New glasses

On Saturday, my bendable glasses (the ones with the cat faces on the hinges) snapped in half at the nose piece. I didn't have back-up glasses. My eye doctor was in downtown DC and unavailable on weekends, and getting new frames and lenses plus anti-reflective coating would be very expensive. So I did what I normally do when it comes to eyeglasses. I reordered the gold MaryAnn frames on that website and updated my account with my new prescription and asked for overnight shipping. The glasses came today. They're perfect. I actually like them better than the bendable glasses. I had decided to go to the Zenni Optical website and order those glasses anyway, to be the back-up pair. But the MaryAnn frames are my new favorites now.
Yes, yes, I know, ordering prescription eyeglasses online is dubious, but the MaryAnn frames are the only ones I actually like.
