It's a man thing, isn't it?
Mar. 20th, 2008 10:37 amDear Husband,
The doctor put your dislocated right shoulder in a sling for a reason. He is sending you to an orthopedist on Monday for a reason. He gave you Flexeril for a reason. Your boss will just have to live with it. Yes, it is your right arm. Yes, it really sucks. Yes, it will be extremely inconvenient for both of us for a while, and I am worried, and this is stressful. But this is life. Bad injuries happen. Yes, they happen to you. Just because the arm is still attached and not bleeding doesn't mean there is nothing wrong. Listen to the doctor.
Thank you.
Love,
Wife.
Dear Friends,
Please continue to remind Adam that he is only human and not actually Superman, and when he is injured he needs to heal. And healing takes time.
Thank you.
Love,
Jo.
Dear Self,
Stop panicking.
No, seriously. Stop panicking.
He will be fine.
Just love him and help take care of him.
Relax.
Love,
Your Brain
