What's Going On Meme
Jun. 12th, 2008 01:50 pmYou know how sometimes people on your friends list post about stuff going on in their lives, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

3. Location: Gaithersburg, MD, USA
4. Occupation: Writer, Librarian.

7. Brothers/Sisters: None. Unless you count the son my father had with his first wife, who died at age six, and the daughter my father had with his first wife, who died at age 37.
8. Pets: Two cats: Luna, a bicolor tabby (white with black patches); and Jupiter, an orange mackerel tabby. A bunch of fish, and two turtles (Donatello, a painted turtle, and Leonardo, a river cooter).
9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:
1. Writing - working on finishing a somewhat epic decade-long science fantasy novel involving psionics and magic in the far future.
2. Health - coping with fibromyalgia, sciatica, the annoyances of cerebral palsy, and a laundry list of other symptoms and syndromes. Trying to exercise and get in shape so I can feel better about it all.
3. Anxiety and loneliness - self-inflicted. I probably made someone mad at me again for something small that's not even worth me getting upset over. I also find myself spending too much time alone and fretting over whether or not I should call friends who are probably busy because they have more friends than I can count.
4. Hobbies - Natural holistic skin care, body care, and alternative medicine.
5. Marriage - It's always one of the biggest things in my life. I cherish it every moment.
10) Where and for what did you go to school for? SUNY Purchase in Westchester, NY. Graduated in 2001 with a BA in Creative Writing.
11) Parents? Self-employed artists living in the Hamptons, NY. Awesome amazing people.
12) Who are some of your closest friends? Adam, Beca, James, Charlotte, Billy, Jason, Danny, Jenn, most of my LJ friends list who I need to actually meet, and others who I've forgotten because I'm in a lot of pain and my brain is foggy.
