Adam is in New York. He will be back either tomorrow or Wednesday, depending on how many jobs he needs to do. Because his company is back in full swing, renting computers and audio-visual equipment all over the country constantly, I'll be seeing less and less of him. But that's fine. He has been doing this since we were dating. I know he always comes home.

In the meantime, I am trying to figure out what I want for dinner. I am not very hungry. But there is leftover pot roast to consider. And acai sorbet later.

I am still tired, and I still hurt, but it's not so bad anymore.

(Rose came to me, right into my lap, and put her paws on my shoulders, and hugged me, and nuzzled me, and purred, and when I hugged her back and cried, she nuzzled me again and purred harder. She is now curled up in my arms on my lap, purring softly.
