Yay Beltane
May. 1st, 2009 07:28 pmAhhhhhhhhhhh Soma. Ahh. Oh. Hee.
Ahh, Cell-Nique.
Blessed Beltane.
I has a Luna. She says hello, translated from "Mrrraw!"
Adam will be officially home by midnight. A Do Not Disturb sign may be draped over the house. His next paycheck resulting from these hours will be insane. This is why he does what he does.
The fibro flare has died down, a bit. On Monday, I go to have my Metro Access ID renewed for the year, which will allow me to call them a day in advance of a trip, which means that if I am alone and need to, say, go to the grocery store for heavy items and no friends are available, I can call them and they will come pick me up and take me to my destination at a pre-approved time, and it only costs $2.50, which is automatically deducted from my Metro Access credit that I don't pay into. It also means, of course, that I do not need to pay to ride select trains and buses. This saves me over $250 per month in transportation fees. I am incredibly grateful for Metro Access, as are their many many other disabled customers.
My new favorite shampoos include John Masters Organics Evening Primrose Shampoo for Dry Hair, Dr. Hauschka Apricot Sea Buckthorn Shampoo, and Aveda Scalp Benefits Shampoo. Alaffia Coconut Shea Hydrating Shampoo also makes an excellent body wash and shave cream. I prefer shampoos that stimulate hair growth and scalp health with ingredients besides basic cleansers. I believe that Pantene shampoo is the worst product one can apply to one's hair.
Time for dinner. Possibly frozen pizza with extra toppings added, like shredded and fresh mozzarella, oregano, garlic, and possibly taco seasoning.
