It is approximately eighty degrees and partly cloudy, so I will go for a long walk before it may or may not rain. My right leg still hurts badly of course, but it needs exercise and stretching.

Last night, I developed the mother of all tension headaches. Extra-strength Excedrin, CoQ10, Passion Flower, Valerian, Calcium/Magnesium, Omega-3, Sea Buckthorn, and yoga breathing eventually helped. I went to bed at eight o'clock, woke up two hours later, spoke to my husband on the phone, went back to sleep, found myself flanked by Rose and Jupiter who sang me to sleep, had some of the most bizarre dreams I have ever had (one involved me aborting a pregnancy seen as dangerous and immediately feeling rejuvenated and strong), and woke up at eleven this morning. Took a long hot shower, refused to weigh myself, did some simple yoga stretches, ate a Greens Plus Chocolate Energy Bar for breakfast, and watched Luna and Rose chase each other all over the house.

I feel like meeting someone at a coffee shop and discussing philosophy and parapsychology, but I don't have anyone to do that with.

My walk was awesome, although very painful at times.
I walked to the Giant (twenty minutes) and bought whole grain bread with flax seed, Bom Dia Acai Energy Conquer which was two for five dollars, Haagen Dazs Chocolate Ice Cream, Klondike Triple Chocolate Ice Cream Bars, and toilet tissue for the downstairs bathroom. Walked back home (twenty minutes, Relaxed, wrote a bit, read a bit.
Went back out because I needed a wrist brace. The CVS is in a shopping center on the other end of Muncaster Mill Road. Muncaster Mill Road is notorious for traffic accidents, deaths, animal killings, etc. Walking there from my neighborhood is not exactly safe, as there is one crosswalk and few sidewalks. Best to take the bus, and then walk back home on the opposite side of the road. At CVS, I took my ten dollar CVS coupon and bought a Futuro Sport Wrap Around Wrist Support brace, some discounted makeup (Revlon eyeliner/shadow stick that was actually a brow enhancer but I rarely follow trends, shimmery pink plumping Neutrogena lipstick that actually looked good on me), a bottle of Neutrogena Acne Facial Wash Grapefruit on sale because I needed something with salicylic acid, a copy of the latest Health magazine, and a foldable brush with a mirror (I am slightly annoyed that no drugstore foundation or concealer has ever matched my complexion, not even the brands that claim to match every skin tone).
Leaving the parking lot, I walked until I came to the one and only crosswalk, which led from the fire department. Something that has always amused me and Adam is that many car crashes and pedestrian accidents happen right at that corner... right in front of the fire/EMT department.
The walk back was getting extremely painful, and my right leg was stiffening up with every step. But I don't like to quit in the middle of something if I can help it. By the time I got home, I was close to tears. I swallowed a Soma, did some basic physical therapy, rested on the couch for a few minutes with Rose, and then made myself dinner.
Dinner was a spicy grilled cheese sandwich. I took the whole grain flax bread, pepperjack cheese slices, mayonnaise, sour cream, taco seasoning, and olive oil, and created an absolutely scrumptious sandwich. The excess olive oil that dripped onto the plate was used to moisturize my hands and hair. I drank a juice blend of goji and tart cherry to wash it down, and then I had a few spoonfuls of Haagen Dazs chocolate ice cream.
I am wearing the Futuro Sport Wrap Around Wrist Support on my right wrist. The Soma is making me sleepy, but that is fine. Sleeping as much as possible has been quite beneficial this weekend.
One thing that sometimes annoys me about my reaction to Soma is that I waffle between jumping around doing dance and exercise moves that I wouldn't really be able to do regularly, and sitting on a couch thoroughly astounded that my muscles are actually completely relaxed and loose. The latter actually takes up more time. Ah, and I have also found that Soma helps me take deeper breaths, easier breaths, since every single muscle everywhere has relaxed and loosened. Important for yoga and such.
