Also, lots of music
Aug. 27th, 2010 01:01 pmThings I did in the last few days:
Write a ton.
Read four books at once.
Exercise with high intensity workouts.
Not eat much.
Three of those things were awesome. The fourth thing was not awesome and needs to be fixed.
I have found that there is no real difference between the muscle soreness from a high intensity workout and the muscle soreness from cerebral palsy spasticity and hypertonia. Not for me. Everything hurts the same way. I just go very slowly. It takes longer but it is still effective. I am now glaring murderously at my steel hand weights, because they made me scream, but it wasn't their fault.
I have PMS right now, and it makes the fibromyalgia symptoms more intense, so the whole world and everything in it is bothering me on various levels.
The comic strip Candorville has been spoofing the comic strip Cathy, which is ending soon, thank the gods. I'm loving it. Goodbye, creepy gender stereotype comic that is not as sarcastic or satirical as you want to be.
In a little while, I will walk to the Giant and see if they have more spanakopita pastries. Also, I have coupons for acai juice.
Every time I come across a blog entry by someone who does daily workouts and complains constantly about post-workout soreness, I have to take several deep breaths and remind myself that wanting to slap them is merely a reflection of my deep desire for that crazy condition called normality.
All pain is pain, temporary or chronic. All complaints are legitimate, simple or intense.
