Tuesday Random Good Stuff
Sep. 28th, 2010 10:34 pmI had a completely insane dream (meeting random unknown cousins from Eastern Europe, becoming a cybernetic clone, living in a research facility, getting involved in a virtual reality), and when I woke up, I didn't feel the usual intense stiffness, tension, and gentle ache that I have every morning.
I woke up and swung my legs over the side of the bed with no pain or stiffness, and that was a fantastic start. I felt relaxed and loose and my joints didn't pop or crack. I hope the rest of the week is this nice.
I'm hoping this new workout routine is helping. I'm working on my lower abdomen and glutes currently. Part of the routine involves a removable leather storage ottoman cover. The square top is two inches tall, and I use it in a step workout. Another part involves resistance bands, standing abdominal crunches, and random dance moves. While it's very simple, it's effective enough for me so far.
Adam will be home from Texas on Thursday. I've been finishing off leftovers in the kitchen, particularly the tub of salad greens and shredded mozzarella. Good stuff. My appetite is still very tiny. Still unsure how to feel about that.
The cats have been incredibly vocal and needy all day. At random moments, all three of them have each climbed onto me, mewed in my face, kissed me, and demanded play time. It's awesome.
I have a low-level full-body ache right now, and some tension in both legs, but so far it's a good deal better than most other days.
