Twilight Zone marathon, etc.

Violent, creepy, horrifying nightmares, followed by forced cat snuggling (all three cats had boxed me in on my side of the bed, with Rose pressing against my side so if I turned I would cuddle her like a teddy bear). Also, Rose and Jupiter had a game where Jupiter had a hair tie under his paws and Rose would pounce on it. I wish I'd gotten the video camera. They are so good together, my red tabbies.
Later on, I had one of the hardest phone conversations I have ever had, and Adam reassured me, and regardless of the outcome I will feel okay, but it was so hard to hear.
On the SyFy channel, there is a Twilight Zone marathon. They will break around eight tonight for wrestling for some reason, and then they will keep going, straight until early Sunday morning, all Twilight Zone. I am going to have a happy TV-viewing new year weekend.
I feel crappy and tired and weak in the muscles and neurologically unsteady, but I also feel good about life, so that balances out.

Goodbye, Decade

Today is the last day of the last year of the first decade of the twenty-first century.
Tomorrow, we enter the pre-teen years.
It will probably be a very emotional two years, rife with "I hate you all, you can't control me, die in a fire" moments.
If we survive to 2013, we should break out the aluminum bats and wait by the front door, just in case.
