Today will be a rainy day involving house cleaning and lazy lounging. Tomorrow can be the day we run errands.

Brunch involved eggs sunny side up, Taylor pork rolls sliced each to resemble Pac-Man (we call them meat-men now), a mix of five grain oatmeal and muesli, and nori pan-fried in olive oil. Plus coffee. I write down these mundane things because memory is so fickle nowadays.

The disability lawyer's office called and told me that at some point I would be contacted by a special neuropsychiatrist in Towson. Her evaluation will do a great deal to help my appeal. As long as someone can drive me to Towson and back, I am there. I do look forward to showing another professional how messed up my neurology is.

The rain and odd weather is making various symptoms flare up and be twitchy. I've got that pins and needles sensation everywhere. Everywhere. Shmeh.

I am starting to hate the simple fact that whenever someone mentions a small pain or ache they have, my normal and common response is, "Yeah, I get that. Sucks." Hurting everywhere all the time should not be normal or common. Again, shmeh.

Does anybody know if there have been medical studies done on Temporal Lobe Epilepsy with regards to long term behavioral changes and personality quirks?
Being a TLE patient myself with complex partial seizures that have occasionally spawned secondary generalized tonic clonic seizures, I am quite curious about the neuropsychiatric and overall neurological implications of TLE over time in adults.
Especially because I've heard stories of patients claiming "the epilepsy made them do it" in terms of strange and unusual behavior patterns and mood changes not directly caused by seizures. Not that I remember any of this in myself. Maybe I should start taking more notes.
