My body demands nice things, etcetera

I strained a muscle in my back near my ribs, which came with a pinched nerve, which made me want to scream, which gave me a chance to try a recommended yoga-style exercise. It didn't help completely, but the Flexeril and the codeine made it much better. All in all, decent. Pain scale went from 5 to 9 to 7 to 6.
I spent the day with a friend. We went to see the new home of the local Whole Foods, which had moved from Rockville Pike to White Flint last month. The new space is massive and featureds new brands, especially in skin care.
I found several products from Andalou Naturals, which is so new that it doesn't even have a full working website yet. I bought the Daily Defense Facial Lotion, the Lavender Shea Hand Cream, the Moisture Rich Shampoo, and the Moisture Rich conditoner. Since it's all organic, I'm using the shampoo as a face wash and the conditioner as a full body lotion, which saves money and product. All the Andalou products contain what they call a "BioActive 8 Berry Complex" (Acai, Aronia, Bearberry, Bilberry, Black Elderberry, Goji, Rosehips, Sea Buckthorn). The hand cream also contains Tamanu oil. Most of the products contain anti-aging extracts like hyaluronic acid, CoQ10, argan oil, manuka honey, rooibos tea, and apple extract. The prices are amazingly affordable, too, so I can happily indulge my superfruit lotion obsession without shipping charges.
Sambazon Acai also had an Acai Chocolate juice, which made me slightly light-headed with happiness. I also got the Acai Yerba Mate Guarana juice from the same brand. I didn't have enough time to run around the entire store, but I'll be going back with another good friend, so the giddy running around shall happen then.
I'm currently collaborating with two Etsy shop owners to make customized skin creams containing as many of my favorite ingredients as possible. It's all so much fun.
