The car thing...

Still exhausted.
Bah.
Also, it was the transmission. A new one will be installed within a couple of weeks, paid for with the emergency credit cards; and in the meantime Adam will borrow a vehicle from his boss, who has been his friend for a decade anyway. Right now we're just hoping that said boss will give Adam many hours of work over the winter, which is the "so slow it's almost dead" season for most IT/AV rental companies. Hopefully Adam can work around the warehouse and the office and go on small runs for conferences, trade shows, and other events that are still running (maybe NASA or the White House?).
Adam and I will scrimp and save our pennies, of course; we know how to live super cheap. I just hate seeing him so nervous. I am falling apart as it is, trying to be a diamond for us both.
