Mmm. The weird dreams can stop now, if they want. I am not saying I don't want them, but... it's getting a little unusal.
Last night's dream was about Granny Weatherwax. I don't remember much, just that I was standing on a path looking at a cottage, and she came out of the cottage and looked at me. She pointed at me and said, "Careful how you talk about them. You start sayin' you believe they all exist even though you don't accept them, they're gonna take it seriously. You want a mess of deities clamoring around in your head, that's fine. You want spiritual peace and quiet, you curb your thoughts."
And how very appropriate that today's quote is from Mr. Prachett himself, creator of said Granny.
If anyone would like to find me some really good Granny Weatherwax quotes, please do so. I especially wish to find the dialogue between Granny and Herne The Hunted, where she explains to him that yes, while he is a god and standing right in front of her, that doesn't mean she has to believe in him.
