Neil Gaiman, melting my heart

This touched my heart so deeply.
Neil Gaiman says, "...I was once found and got by a feral white cat I barely knew who somehow persuaded me to follow her, mostly by taking a few steps at a time and looking exasperated and worried, and eventually led to the place where one of her kittens was strangling on netting."
The unbelievable intelligence that animals have, the way they speak to humans, never ceases to amaze and delight me. I hope that kitten went on to live a long, good life.
