Things that made me go YAY:
-Adam's phone call. He had today off, but decided to go into work for a few hours to replace the dead desktop which provided access to our downloaded movies, TV shows, and music lists. He also got his boss to give him a new laptop to replace the one that had been stolen, as well as a new laptop for me, to replace the one that had died. He now has an IBM Thinkpad T42. I have an IBM Thinkpad T40, and all my files and folders have been transferred to it, thanks to Danny. Adam also added more memory and a battery with a longer life. What's nice is that we didn't need to pay anything except a few hours of Adam's time.
-Adam got his paycheck three days early, which he will give to me to pay December's mortgage with. It goes into my savings account, with a little bit skimmed off the top to help with other bills, since one of his paychecks covers the mortgage and then some.
-I have the most awesome organic shampoos that double as face and body cleansers: EvansGarden.com Shampoo For Dry Hair, AfricanRedTea.com Rooibos Shampoo, and Alaffia.com Shea Butter & Honey Nourishing Shampoo With Black Soap and Rooibos Tea.
-Belenen told me that the character of Arwen from the Lord Of The Rings trilogy reminds her of me. I blushed intensely when I read that.

Things that made me go ARGH:
-I somehow managed to injure my right ankle, right knee, right hip, right wrist, and right pinky toe. Also, that weird infection between my pinky toe and third toe is back. Adam gave me a medicated spray to take care of it. My joints feel slightly wrenched and twisted, so I've been limping a little. Thankfully, the cocktail of CoQ10, MSM, ALA, and DLPA made the pain much more bearable. So I feel okay.

Things that made me go HMM:
-I finished Charles de Lint's Widdershins at lunch. It is now one of my favorite books. It has also given me much to think about. So I'll be pondering for a while. The next book to ride in my purse will be de Lint's Spirits In The Wires. However, if I don't finish that book by the 17th (when we head up to New York), I'll put it aside and put Mark Helprin's Winter's Tale in its place. I need to really really read that one deeply. And the best place to start is in my hometown, where the silence is filled only with nature and love.
