A Few Random Good Things

I found two pairs of blue jeans (capri, meaning ankle length on me) that actually fit my hips without that damnable gap in the waist. I haven't worn jeans in almost a year because nothing fit right. This is awesome.
Giant Foods sells Harmony Farms holistic dry cat food, which means I won't need to go to a specialty pet store anymore. I could just walk or bike or take a bus down the road.
We have champagne grapes. And acai juice. And port salut cheese.
For the past two weeks, I've been able to manage my fibromyalgia flares without Soma or other drugs. This is nice. I still hurt, mid to high pain levels (on a scale of mildly beaten, significantly beaten, or savagely beaten, I have stayed at mildly). But it's better than it was.
Rose and Adam are bonding again after his time away. She's grown so big in those three weeks. Our beautiful kitten.
We fed Rose catnip for the first time. She loves it. Loves it, loves it, loves it. Aww, she's all fuckered up.
Sex with my husband is quite often transcendent.
We're going to go bike and trike riding tomorrow, together.

Date: 2008-09-01 08:40 am (UTC)It's also strongly suspected I have fibro (I have a lot of severe health problems. Go-Go Gadget Car Wreck!), but that has to wait til I have health insurance to be determined.
And yeah, I share your jeans woe. I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum, at six feet tall, with two-thirds of that being legs, and oddly-shaped hips, I find a comfy flattering pair of jeans every, oh, decade. Heh.
It'll be nice when they start making women's fashions for, y'know, women.

Oh, damn, your search for jeans sounds completely fruitless. I'm sorry. I mean, I'll never, ever be able to understand (my head most likely wouldn't reach your shoulder) but I can sympathize. I've got an hourglass figure. Most women may want such a figure, but most clothing designers don't seem to think it exists.

(And, having had a friend your height, I can say that you would not come up to my shoulder, but you would have a lovely view at eye-level. XD )
