I spoke with my neurologist yesterday and we discussed my epilepsy medication as a secondary treatment for the fibromyalgia. A few days ago, I accidentally took a second pill and discovered that my flare decreased. Trileptal tablets come in doses of 150 mg, 300 mg, and 600 mg. My doctor and I agreed that my future doses could be 600 instead of 300. In the meantime, I'll finish the three-month refill I just got at 300 mg, and when that is finished I can move up to 600. Maybe things will get better.
