Have you read the graphic novel?

I saw it and liked it, although the violence (while it WAS admittedly making a nihilistic point) was a bit much. I would like to hear your opinion about the music. And I dod have to add that I think the nefarious plot in the movie is stronger than that in the comic.

P.S. I didn't find the cerulean schlong terribly distracting.

The book is definitely worth a read, and although the movie makers were obviously in love with the imagery of the comic they are of course very different media and subtly different stories. But I don't think that you will need to read the book before seeing the movie. My girlfriend had not read the graphic novel and followed the movie fine. Let me know what you think when you've seen the film.
