Working on the book.
In fact, a beta reader is beta reading right now. She told me so.

Adam has landed safely in San Francisco and is heading toward his hotel room. And then he will begin work on setting up classes for the Particle Accelerator School.
(Just the existence of such a school makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.)

Not tired at all. Watching a weird movie on Syfy, called Perfect Creature. It's about steampunk vampires.

Sleep will happen in a couple of hours, once I've spoken to Adam again and know he's settled. Also once Luna gets off my lap. Also once the kava and lotus kick in. Muscle-relaxing plant extracts are awesome.

Just finished the second draft of my book! w00t! It's such a great feeling, isn't it? :)

I have a small excerpt of my novel up on my journal, and I'd love your opinion, if you have time and energy to spare! Mine's being sent out to about a dozen test-readers right now, which is definitely nerve-wracking. It's amazing how great it feels to finish something, but then how nervous it can make you feel knowing others are going to have varied opinions about what you put your heart and soul into...

It is quite a wonderful feeling! I've not finished the book itself, but I am barreling toward the end.

I plan on going back to your journal when I get a chance and reading the excerpt. If it is anything like what you write already, it will be amazing.
