Random Ramblings 2

Adam and I spent his day off sleeping until noon, cuddling, working on his travel receipts, making food, and preparing for our H&R Block appointment. While we owe Maryland a good chunk, like always, we are getting back a large refund from federal. It balances out. Even with me losing my job last year, we had made a stunning amount of money. Adam hopes to continue this trend. Of course, all that money went to bills, expenses, life, and such. But we're slowly paying off debt and managing as best we can. I still desperately want a job myself.
My pain today roared and ranted, culminating in a ferocious headache that is just now starting to abate after being treated. The skin on my hands, neck, and legs has been dry, itchy, and red these last few days. My friends always wonder why I always have specific lotions, creams, serums, or balms everywhere I go. That's why.
I'm currently researching schizoaffective disorder and schizotypal personality disorder, for my antagonist. I read the chapters I'd already written and realized he probably has one or the other. I want to make sure I get it right.
I can't think straight. Fucking pain. Good night.

Date: 2010-03-16 03:35 pm (UTC)One interesting trait, especially for a writer: people with schizotypal personality disorder understand descriptions made my comparison better than an outright description. As a result, one such person may ted to describe things in metaphor. This can vary in degrees, from the occasional simile to speech laden with parables and/or cliches.
You can see a profound example of such communication in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Darmok."
I have it, very slightly. That is probably why I turned to writing as a means of expression.
