But really, the animals are watching us

I haven't been to a zoo in ages. I remember the Bronx Zoo, from my childhood. The Woodley Park National Zoo, in DC, was fascinating. Giant pandas, for one thing. Rather, one giant panda. We saw it's backside as it scurried away. Caracals. Lemurs. Meerkats. Elephants. I had woken up with a pinched nerve and pulled muscle in my neck, radiating down my left shoulder and arm, but it was eased by the time we left the zoo, Beca and James and I. My feet were sore and throbbing. We drove to the Coldstone Creamery in the Kentlands. My first visit. I had a cheesecake ice cream with fudge and chocolate chips. Next time, I shall ask for brownies instead of chips.
Adam is still working with the G40 summit. He's home now, but not for long. The Italians need an on-site tech tonight at midnight, and he is preparing for that. He will be home probably around three in the morning, and will return to work tomorrow afternoon.
My head is pounding now, and I am massaging it gently. My sinuses ache. I may go to bed early.
