Waiting for the sun

Woke up late, spent most of the day inside, which was lovely because Adam was home. He'll be driving to Boston tomorrow and will be there for a week, setting up the computers and A/V equipment for an insurance conference.
Dinner was baked salmon seasoned with garlic and wasabi. Dessert was baked apples in honey and acorn squash. We made brownies afterward.
I'd love for tomorrow to be full of sun and warmth, and it might be according to the latest forecast. I will go for a walk, perhaps a bus ride or Metro ride somewhere, leave the house and be Out for a bit, before coming back to writing the book and to job hunting. I need more almond butter from Whole Foods.
I do love having a MetroAccess paratransit account, with the photo ID that lets me ride the bus system and metro system for free all over the DC Metro area. People keep asking what I would do if I woke up one day and all traces of the cerebral palsy had disappeared, no epilepsy, no fibromyalgia, no sciatica, no lordosis, no sensory integration disorder, none of it. I never know what to say. I might lose my mind for a while. Run off and take a hundred classes in dance and yoga and martial arts. Push my body to unknown limits just because I could. But yes, definitely lose my mind.
