Still nervous. On the outside I am practically an automoton. I can't feel anything but an intensity that forces me to run around and Get Things Done In Time. On the outside, I look rather calm, but my eyes are wild. My brain says I must shove all panic deep down because it can't be bothered. But inside I am gibbering and shivering and anticipating weird things.
Not real yet. Won't be real until the plane is in the air, and then seven hours later I will be in the future in London. Something like that. Yes, mothers, I brought very warm clothing.
Oh gods, I'm leaving the country for the first time ever. How do you people do this?
It will be fun. It will be glorious. It will be magnificent. It will be epic. I will not curl up in my hotel room shaking because I don't know where I am. I will be inspired. I will find magic. It's London.
