Dude. That's absolutely mesmerizing.
Also, I am in lots of pain. My knees feel invisible. But it's okay. Took stuff for it (DLPA, ALCAR). Pain is going away now. Oh, hey, did you know that guaifenesin helps? Mucinex, 200 mg. Seriously.
Adam and I showered together last night, and he had taken the extra shower head off the additional hose, allowing a single, steady, sharp, intense jet of water to flow from said hose. He used that for some therapy on all my pain points, also some Reiki Adam-style. If you have any sort of neuropathy and chronic muscle pain and someone blasts you with tons of water: Oh my gods. Most incredible sensation ever. Everything loosens up and relaxes and eases and stops hurting. Also, it's kind of ticklish.
I was so happy and sedate that the pain did not register. That's the key, says Adam. It's why he smiles all the time and laughs at the little things. He has chronic pain too. If he didn't allow himself to be so relaxed and joyful, he'd probably be curled up in a corner screaming.
I know that feeling.
So, I resolve to be happy, as much as I can. Boosts endorphins and such. Yes.
