Grammar lessons and My Little Ponies. My day is complete (and it's only ten in the morning).

John, the published author from the writing group, emailed me back. He wants Chapter Three; he "can't wait to read it." He's happy to point out the little errors and redundancies and inconsistencies and he says that even with those errors, it's a strong piece, although he doesn't want to tread on my literary voice by correcting me so much (I told him that was just fine and I needed it).

He says my work is "marvelous" and "exceptional" and that I have a "great literary voice."

He calls my voice "silky."
