Reading the comments has been extremely entertaining -- and has given me some ideas for writing.

I am watching Brazil on the Indie channel (the Terry Gilliam film). I don't think I've ever watched this movie during early daylight hours. It has always given me the most bizarre dreams. The very first time I saw it was during my college years. Two in the morning in Corinne's dorm room, and we'd been eating junk food and drinking alcohol, and we were insomniac, and she put the VHS tape in, and we giggled and barooed and WTFed until it was over. And then Corinne said, "So, has your brain been pretzeled yet?" and I looked at my empty glass, and at the junk food, and at the television, and at her, and said, "Gbuh. Zuh. Huh. Uh?" And she grinned and said, "Exactly." Oh, memories. SUNY Purchase hosted some of the very best days of my life.

When I woke up this morning, I found that Rose had settled into my arms so she was curled over my right arm and snuggled under my left arm, and her head was nestled in my right hand (I tend to sleep on my right side, with my left leg bent, like a small child might. It had helped the sciatica when I was a teen). I blinked at her and said, "Rose? Time to get up, sweet pea." And her little golden tabby ears perked up, and then she said, "Mraahh?" and turned her head up and looked at me, and yawned, and licked my hand raw, then purred loudly, said, "Mrah!" again, then stood up and stretched, then rubbed her nose against mine and mewed and meeped until I got up. I'm fairly sure I died of cute.

Breakfast was a 43-second egg with olive oil and cheese on a whole grain honey wheat English muffin: I toasted the two halves of the English muffin. Then spread cream cheese on them. Then sliced up some fresh mozzarella. Then took a small bowl and poured a splash of olive oil into it and swirled it around. Then cracked an egg into it, mixed it all up, and put it in the microwave for 43 seconds. Took out the bowl, scooped the cooked egg onto the bottom half of the English muffin, added the mozzarella cheese, topped it with the other half of the muffin, got some goji-acai juice, and ate my most awesome homemade Egg McMuffin. While watching Brazil.

Today I will write more, and do another job search.

This is me

"I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on."
- Beryl Pfizer

My leg muscles ache, and my hips ache, and my shoulders ache, and the baseline pain is exactly like a very hot electrical current starting at the base of my spine and moving downward then upward. It's all right. I will be going for a walk later, then some yoga exercises will help stretch out the problems. Soma tonight.

My facial skin is being ridiculous. Frak this. Hormonal pimples along the jawline, red dots along the cheeks. It makes me want to rip out my reproductive organs just to try and stop the PMS-related breakouts. Exfoliation and proper treatment certainly helps, but I must learn to be consistent.

I wish it would rain. I have been waiting for rain for days now.

I have no idea what to make myself for dinner...

It seems that when applied as an ingredient skin care and cosmetics, lycium barbarum extract can help increase the production of collagen and elastin. It can calm subdermal inflammation, reduce bacterial infections on the skin, and promote an even, smooth tone boosted by microcirculation.
Goji berries also contain dozens of amino acids, antioxidants, and micronutrients, all of which the skin craves as it ages or becomes damaged.
So, in a nutshell, goji berries make human skin ecstatic. Acai berries do the same, but the antioxidant power of acai is slightly different than that of goji. Acai has different kinds of antioxidants and it has a higher ORAC rating. In fact, acai and goji go head to head in a lot of ways. Goji berries actually contain ellagic acid, which is fascinating. Pomegranate contains ellagic acid, of course, but I love that goji does too.
This is a fantastic site, by the way:

I prefer acai juice to drink, and I do love acai oil for my skin, but I can't pick a favorite.

This is why Gojilania's Goji Acai juice has me squealing every time I see the bottle in stores. Same with Bom Dia Energy Conquer. It's kind of hard these days to find beverages that contain both superfruits. Nom.
