Hah. Gosling Black Seal Rum as a painkiller. Used with Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale.
Dark And Stormy with a twist.
I know why the rum's gone. Because the pain's gone.
Also, it's bubbly.

Mm. Adam heads to New York City for work tomorrow. It's just a weekend job, though. He'll be home Saturday night, maybe Sunday.
Not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon. Ha ha.

I think I may be getting quietly slightly drunk. I do that easily. That's why I don't drink.
Often. Much. Hardly.

But painkiller.

Oh, this makes me laugh. My local CVS has decided to just stop selling the only foundation makeup color that matches me within the limited span of drugstore foundation products. Revlon makes this lovely foundation called Age Defying Spa Foundation, which contains acai berry extract and hyaluronic acid and fruit extracts and other wonderful ingredients. The second shade in the line, Fair/Light, actually matches my complexion, which no other drugstore foundation product has ever been able to do. And yet my local drugstore features the little rack with the particular product without that one specific shade. They actually go from Shade One to Shade Three. There is no more Shade Two. They cannot offer me an explanation. This has baffled me. Revlon has not discontinued the shade or the product. There are people who have a fair to light complexion who could use that shade. Dear CVS, what the hell? Why on earth would you stock a cosmetic product and stock all the shades except one? Was the Fair/Light color not selling fast enough, for gods' sakes? This means that I'd need to visit Walmart Target or Ulta to get the product, which are sort of out of my way, and the point was kind of that I could just walk down the street and pop in and buy a cheap foundation product without having to travel too much. All the other foundation and concealer products that match my complexion are either in department stores, in specialty stores or online.
Color me confused.

Adam left for New York. He will be home Sunday night. After that, who knows where his work will send him? But it is all good.
