We had the conversation last night and then again today when he called me at lunch. Last night he said that it had come up during a talk with his boss. That is the bad news, he says to me this afternoon. The good news, he says, is that he shall be getting a very impressive pay raise, more than he had thought. Lucrative, was his word. We will be very pleased, he says.
He will be home for his birthday, next weekend. We will be able to have our private party.
He said he was sorry and he loved me. I said it was never his fault and I loved him.
I'm fine. Thank you.
I got a free sample of mascara. I do not like to wear mascara, but I love this. It is Prescriptives Lash Envy. It gives me Bambi eyes.
I have a new mineral makeup loose foundation, from a company called Let's Face It Mineral Makeup. It contains silk powder. And it contains extract of Goji berry. No other makeup product has Goji berry. It is unique and very good to my skin.
I have not drunk Goji juice in two years, but I have capsules now until I find the juice again. Goji is extraordinary.
The office is closing early for the holiday. We will go back to work on Wednesday. Today I leave at 2:30. My boss says I can. I will pick up my new bottle of Trileptal from CVS, and then perhaps go to Barnes & Noble to browse. There is really nothing for me to come home to yet. I don't know what I will do this weekend. I think Steve will come over. If I can get both him and Charlotte together with me, I want to discuss my role as Healer in our Druid order, and my future role alongside Michael as Arch Druid of the Spirit Triad.
