confession: sometimes I cry, too.

I am no longer in love with Keira Knightley.
Those recent photos make me want to scream and shove cheeseburgers at her.

I am, however, still in love with Scarlett Johansson and Kate Winslet -- two women whom Ms. Knightley named as being her role models.
If that is so, sweet Keira... why aren't you eating? There is a huge, huge difference between being skinny and being skeletal. Yes, they both start with the same two letters, but that's it.

She says, "I'm not anorexic. I'm sure I'm not." In the same breath she says that she has a family history of the disease.

When I was sick, I was in denial for years and years. I understand. I sympathize. No, no, no, I'm not, never. Yet watch me pick carefully at my food and then throw it away. Watch me get so thin that it made my best friend want to cry. Watch me get so weak that my lover told me I was dying.

I don't know if Keira Knightley is anorexic. She looks it. She looks like she has not eaten -- or exercised -- in weeks. If she is, I hope she gets help. If not, then I want to see a paparazzi shot of her eating a bowl of macaroni and cheese. The whole thing.

For lunch I want a cheeseburger with mushrooms and guacamole.

They tell me I'm still not eating enough.
They want me to eat more.
See? It's hard to tell in our own heads.

By the way, I love that icon photo of yours.
Poor Keira...it's such an anorexic-image industry. She looked beautiful but terribly angular in Pride & Prejudice.

I wish I had some guacamole right now, too. :)

I hate what that industry does to people. If you arn't the picture perfect image of hollywood beauty, you need help in some way, shape or form. My roommate is an actress and she fixates over areas that the industry has told her isn't ideal. She's been told time and time again get get a nose job because her nose is a bit large. I personally think it gives her character.

No, I was orginally planning on aiming for that industry, majored in it and everything but it took one studio to foul my day dreams of working in on films.

I've often thought she looks anorexic. But you never know with people. Some are just naturally very slender.

Yeah, I know a lot of very skinny woman -- but none of them have that telltale sunken chest thing that most anorexics get. :(

I've never liked Keira Knightley, ever. There was always something about her and now I guess I'm putting my finger on what.

I do, however, absolutelt adore Kate Winslet. She's incredibly beautiful and sensible about her body and health.

The story that she's anorexic came about when she chose the wrong type of dress when she appeared in the DMC preview.

However, looking at some of the photos on the fan sites, the neck bones are very noticable, though not the skeletal rib cage you get with the catwalk anorexics. One of the photos:

She does certainly look thin, there isn't really much of her. I wonder if the media and her filming has caused her stress so she might be missing a few meals.

I think Keira Knightly has a beautiful face. I absolutely love her eyes and the shape of her face. She's got great features.

However, her body scares me. I find it very had to believe that any female naturally has her body type. Generally, when people are extremely lean naturally (low body fat %) they have visible muscle. Anorexics usually don't have visible muscle for obvious biological reasons. I think her arms and torso reveal that she is dangerously thin. I don't know if she is intentionally starving herself, but either way, I think she looks malnourished.

Yes indeed. I'd be fine with her body if it returned to her slender and slim shape, very thin but with no bones showing.

I'm curious about her, she's always been slim but yes, now she seems exceedingly skinny, although she did make a good point about Mackenzie Crook not being asked if he was anorexic even though he's skinny...

I digree. I've added you to my friends list as I've been preusing [livejournal.com profile] azhure's friends list. I hope you don't mind? You seem like an interesting woman.

Thanks for adding me. :)
