Adam rearranged the living room again. He seems to enjoy constantly doing this. I'm getting used to it.
Went to a costume party at The Ranch last night. My outfit was well-received -- I was a witch, velvet and silk green gown, sparkling midnight shawl, pentacle on a black cord around my head: A real witch, not a cackling wicked stereotype. I am not used to crowds, still, too many people, and eventually Lena and Adam noticed my behavior and I warned them I was having small seizures, so Lex and Adam drove me home, where I slept long and hard into Sunday morning. It did upset me. I was doing well. But now that I understand the epilepsy, I need to be more aware of it. Especially in combination with the social anxiety.
Charlotte and Billy will be here soon; I will be happy for the company. I have very good chocolate, and lots of books (Nora Roberts, Francesca Lia Block, Neil Gaiman, Cheyenne McCray) to keep me silent company till then.
