Counting down. On Sunday, Adam and I pack into the car and drive out toward New York. We're staying in Hartsdale with my godparents, Carolyn and Kelly, overnight. On Monday, we drive the two more hours to Sag Harbor, and will be at my parents' house around late afternoon. Beca and James will arrive by Hampton Jitney on Wednesday. Adam and I will leave on either Monday or Tuesday, but in between will be a week of beauty, silence, and home.
Home.
Home.

I cannot wait to eat a precious slice of pizza from Conco D'Oro's pizzeria.

Have a great time! By the way, you'll be about an hour and forty-five minutes away from me (Had to ask boyfriend if Sag Harbor was on Long Island. He shook his head, pointed east, and gave me the timing. I have only lived here for three months =)

No, he's wrong. Sag Harbor is part of Long Island. It's in the Hamptons, which is on the East End of New York, on the extreme eastern tip of Long Island. He may be thinking that it's too far east be on LI, but trust me, it's on LI. ;)
Sag Harbor is Long Island's largest whaling port, and the setting for the book "Moby Dick." It's in Suffolk County, which is definitely part of Long Island.
Here, have the newspaper. :)

So, where are you?

Oh, my sentence was not at all clear. He was shaking his head at me in mocking disgust because still don't know my way around Long Island, not because he thought Sag Harbor was not in Long Island. =)

I'm finishing up an internship at Stony Brook University and hopefully will be getting a job with The Institute for Long Island Archaeology. *crosses fingers*

He hasn't told me yet. Believe me, no one tells me anything either. I assumed we'd be spending Saturday packing. Did he just tell you this?

If that is his new plan, then excellent, I shall be looking forward to seeing you.

Damn husband of mine seems to enjoy making plans without me....
