So, looking past the advertising, prices, and exclamation points... Yeah. There are good reasons that Helichrysum, Tamanu, and Sea Buckthorn are my favorite skin care ingredients of all time, ever.
Other ingredients worth mentioning: MSM, Rooibos tea, Green tea, Camellia oil, Borage oil, Cranberry oil, Raspberry oil, Emu oil, Royal Jelly, Propolis, Orchid Flower, Tamarind Extract, Calendula oil, Rose essential oil, Neroli essential oil, Frankincense essential oil, Sandalwood essential oil, Myrrh essential oil, Jasmine essential oil.
I swear, I need my own skin care company. Or someone who already owns a company who will work with me. All my products would have every one of these ingredients if not most of them, in some variation or another. Except for the vegetarian/vegan options, which wouldn't have emu or bee products.
It is incredibly hard it is to find a company that will actually customize a skin cream or lotion for me like this. And not many products out there have my Big Three.
This is why Lyn at Bunny's Bath is awesome. She customized her Hand Balm and Face Cream for me to include the Big Three. The Face Cream will have the Three permanently, but she doesn't want to increase the price of the Hand Balm with helichrysum (the oil is costly), so it's a customization for me. I'm currently using the Hand Balm as a full body sunscreen type moisturizer.

Date: 2007-05-08 12:14 am (UTC)I'm currently using a moisturiser with honey and sea buckthorn oil, it's quite good though I haven't been relying on it for sun protection (don't know how much oil it's got in it).
You should start your own company! It can be as small or as big as you want it to be, and you could run it off a website rather than a real store. You seem to know a lot about natural products, and you already have some industry contacts by the sound of it. Also, I don't think the initial financial investment in this sort of venture would be a lot, at least compared to other industries.
