Benefits Fair

brightlotusmoonI went to the office benefits fair, mainly because I could get a free mini massage, a free cholesterol screening, and a free body fat analysis. The respective results: the knots in my shoulders are gone, my cholesterol is so good and healthy that the nurse drew a smiley face next to the numbers, and my body fat percentage is "good and healthy."
I also met privately with Mimi, one of the HR managers. She was very sweet and compassionate. She interviewed me about my accident and injury. It'll take a few days for the report to go through, of course, but she assures me that the company is really good about accepting claims, and that means everything would be paid for. She'll keep in touch with me until we know for sure.
Almost time to go home. It's already starting to get dark. Sigh.
