Back and Better

Adam came home about fifteen minutes after I did, at six-thirty. He's feeling a lot better now. He has tomorrow off, which is great.
The red envelope in the banzai tree has been working so far; we've gotten money from unexpected places. I just paid off the balance of one of my credit cards, and Adam will have cash to take care of some errands. And my paycheck will be direct deposited by tomorrow morning. I worked a bit of overtime, so that should reflect nicely too.
I found the most wonderful, fantastic red lip gloss ever. It's so thick and creamy that I don't need much. Also, it's hydrating, plumping, collagen-building, and long-lasting. And it smells like real chocolate. The tube will last for a long long time, so I'm okay with the price.
I'll be working with Linda from ZosimosBotanicals.com on Saturday, and possibly on Sunday if she needs me. I'm still not sure why it's "uncommon" for me to be helping someone out without being paid in money. I'm being "paid" in products, experience, and in Linda providing transportation and lunch.
I've been researching certain botanical oils, extracts, and butters, figuring out their roles in renewing skin's outer layer, promoting new tissue and cell growth, encouraging cell turnover, and removing skin waste. So far, the winners are Tamanu oil, Sea Buckthorn oil, Helichrysum oil, Arnica oil, and Coffee extract.
Dinner was leftovers: Rotini pasta with mushroom marinara, small black olives, and chopped green beans. And a chocolate chip cookie warmed in the convection oven.
I am also in a very very good mood. I've been grinning since Adam came home.

This is the first time I've mentioned it. :)
In feng shui, it's believed that if you put money in a red envelope and put the envelope in a plant near the northern part of your home, you will start receiving more money than you expected. So far, it's worked.
