I was given the DVD of The Hogfather this year, so it made yesterday a hogswatch treat!
If you watch the end, the toymaker is played by Pratchett himself!
"I loved Hogfather. It was done on a budget that would just about pay for Arnold Schwarzenegger's cigar bill in a Hollywood production, but it keeps to the spirit and above all the soul of the book. I was amazed at what they were able to achieve: they proved that ingenuity can get through times of no money better than money gets you through times of no ingenuity. I couldn't fault the casting. From now on, in my minds eye Susan will always be played by Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Tennant was not born to be Nobby but he achieved tremendous Nobbyness. Albert is Sir David Jason. Ian Richardson and Marnix Van Den Broeke together created the Death that was already in my imagination. I hope there will be more Discworld movies. In fact I know there will be but Hogfather, while not actually finding a large place in my wallet, will always have a place in my heart!" -- Terry Pratchett (written on an insert in the DVD box)

(making note of that for future refence, oh boy)
