Last night:
After an argument with myself over the nature of The Female Body and how bloating can affect the size of my pants and how I don't need a larger size in pants at all (although the balloning breast affect was nice), I applied my moor mud mask to my face and neck and relaxed for ten minutes, washed it all off, then applied a sea buckthorn cream, and felt better.

I went online looking for pictures or paintings that resemble Dana's facial structure in the novel. I found two by Victoria Frances that are pretty much spot-on. I don't know the names, but they are gorgeous.

The facial features I find most attractive in women are full lips, sharp cheekbones, and defined jawlines. So I think this makes sense, that I'd see the characters this way.

(Ian looks similar to actor Chace Crawford and Alex looks similar to actor Milo Ventimiglia; Ian looks like their mother while Alex looks like their father.)

The closest I've come to visually discovering what a character looks like is by making her in Sims 2.

I wish I could draw better, because I'd love to see them.

Oh, honey, if the book gets published and then gets optioned for a movie, I'd be running a bunch of actors and actresses through my head... for now, though, it's just in my head. :)

Here is a possible synopsis, though:

"In the early 23rd century, psionics and magic have merged, and are as common and as praised as artistic ability. Only a handful of truly powerful psychics exist in each generation, psychics who could remake the world. Five such psychics exist now, and through a twist of fate, they also possess the cosmic powers of ancient god-like avatars, incarnations of myth and legend. Unfortunately, one of the five has become psychotic and seeks to destroy reality. The only one who can stop him is another member of the group, who inherited her cosmic mantle, and who must come to terms with the incredible responsibility of holding the fate of the world in her hands. With the help of the other three psychics, she must journey within herself and within other realms to prevent a catastrophe that could threaten all existence."
