Kids, this is why you need to learn how to spell words properly, or at least ask someone to proofread:

Yes, yes, I know, this is The Internet, and you can't turn around without encountering horrible grammar and language skills because people don't bother to think before typing.
But still. It's so damn funny.

Also, painkillers are fantastic. I took one of Adam's Lortab tablets a few hours after I realized that my Soma pill wasn't really helping my pain. I like the hydroco-apap quite well, enough to discuss it with my doctor. Definitely an as-needed painkiller, though, not a regular one.

Charlotte is home from the hospital. She had surgery to correct the problems from a botched hysterectomy five years ago. She'd had endometriosis since she was sixteen, which got her medically discharged from the military, scoffed at by her family, and endless amounts of needless, vicious pain. Because she is allergic and sensitive to most prescription pain drugs, cannabis is one of the few drugs that work for her. She finally went in for a full hysterectomy when she was twenty-seven, but it didn't really do much aside from removing her reproductive organs. She has still been in pain. I'm just happy her new surgery went well. She's now working for the first time in five years, as a receptionist for a home health care company. Everyone there loves her, and most of the nurses have already offered their services. The resident psychotherapist was the woman who gave us Rose. So, good wishes for a speedy recovery. I'm going to see her after work tomorrow.

Oh, and a breakthrough: I caught Luna and Rose playing tag earlier. It was adorable.

Adam made a stir fry with wok-cooked vegetables and grilled chicken; and he made lime-ade, with limes and sugar and salt. We may go out for a dessert date.

endo really sucks. i've had it too since a teen. glad your friend was at least able to get a hysto, although you're right if the estro is lodged elsewhere, there is still pain and sometimes nerves can be permanently damaged, depending on where the site of endo is.

We're pretty sure she has permanent nerve damage in several places. I just hope this is her final surgery, and she can at last be free of all this pain.
